The Olympus Tours Foundation promotes cultural development by organizing and supporting artistic activities and projects.

The name Olympus has its origins in Greek culture, and one of the foundation’s main cultural activities is focused on promoting the strengthening of ties between the peoples of Mexico and Cyprus, spreading the Hellenic culture, both past and present.

The Foundation, in close collaboration with the Cypriot Embassy in Mexico City, the Honorary Consular Office of Cyprus in Cancun and educational institutions, organizes cultural events and conferences, including plastic art, photography, poster, popular art and traditional craft exhibitions from the island. Its also sponsors concerts by Cypriot musicians, audiovisuals, lectures, radio shows and workshops, aiming to showcase the philosophy, art and culture of this Mediterranean island, an integral part of our world’s cultural heritage.

The Foundation also endeavours to make a significant contribution to the local culture of the Mexican Caribbean area by showcasing a wealth of contemporary plastic pieces by artists from both countries, and organizing both permanent and temporary exhibitions which will promote and support artistic talent from both nations.
