Education

The Foundation promotes the training and education of persons with limited resources and offers scholarships in different areas to university students and mentally challenged children. It supports four young persons with permanent scholarships; they are being trained as confectionery and traditional handicrafts technicians in APAFHDEM.

The Foundation sponsors research and social service projects for underprivileged students, offering support to students from the Autonomous University of Chapingo, which has created a botanical garden on the Mayan coast that cultivates medicinal plants, as part of their social service project; it aims to promote ancestral knowledge and recover traditional Mayan medicinal traditions.

The Foundation looks upon sport as a healthy practice that promotes physical and intellectual development, encouraging human values such as cooperation, solidarity and respect. Sport generates habits which favour social integration and is a therapy for diseases resulting from contempt and loneliness. It provides financial and material support to sporting groups from the Universidad Interamericana de Desarrollo. 

It also offers financial support to the Casa Xiipaal School where it offers interactive courses on children’s rights to elementary school pupils.
