Recreation and Coexistence

It is a model of social integration that seeks to make coexistence generate lessons of life, learning and values, promoting integration between society and vulnerable groups of Cancun through a warm, happy and innovative model of interaction.

This Project arises from the need to adapt vulnerable groups of Cancun’s society to public spaces. Because of the high number of vulnerable groups existing in this area, RECREATION AND COEXISTENCE has been created, a project that seeks to meet the needs of this segment of the population of Cancun that are limited to support their families in order to manage to get  through and fit into society.

The objective of RECREATION AND COEXISTENCE is breaking down barriers of isolation, strengthen self-esteem and achieve mutual learning through reflecting on the right of the people of these vulnerable groups to enjoy public spaces intended for entertainment with freedom and independence.

OBJECTIVES:

• Socially integrate vulnerable groups of Cancun’s society, strengthening their self-esteem, independence and socialization.
• Raise society’s awareness and promote a culture in favor of the vulnerable groups of Cancun’s society.
• Sensitize in order to understand the right that vulnerable groups have to enjoy the spaces that society offers.
